A letter from Channon to the City Editors of San Francisco Newspapers, including the Examiners, Chronicle, News, Call & Bulletin, inviting photographers and journalists to attend the welcome reception at the airport on July 19, 1949 for Indian Ambassador to the U.S., Madame Pandit. They were also invited to a dinner in her honor held on July 22, 1949.
