Telegram to University of California Students
Telegram dated July 30, 1976 addressed to University of California informing students of “grave impending crisis” and inviting them to join the “Justice for George Fernandes and Other Freedom Fighters” committee. George Fernandes was one of twenty-five freedom fighters arrested by Indira Gandhi’s administration in June 1976 and tried in the infamous Baroda dynamite case.
