"Pickets at Dutch consulate"

Clipping states, "Representatives of the Negro people and the peoples of Greece and India will participate in the picket line before the Dutch consulate [...] to protest the Dutch attack on the Indonesian Republic [...]." Godha Ram Channon is named as the picketing representative of the National Committee for India’s Freedom.

Letter from Mrs. Husain Nasri to Godha Ram Channon
A letter dated July 22, 1946 from Mrs. Husain Nasri, Chairwoman of American Wives of India, to Godha Ram Channon, Chairman of India Famine Relief Committee. The letter was in regards to both organizations soliciting funds and holding benefits for India famine relief. Nasri apologizes for soliciting funds from the San Francisco area, where Channon’s organization was fundraising.
