Dr. Sudhindra Bose: "Messenger of Brotherhood"



DESCRIPTION
A 1927 pamphlet that describes the life, writing, and travels of Sudhindra Bose advertising his lectures on the Circuit Chautauqua. Lecture subjects include "The Awakened Orient," "American Business Man in the Far East," "New India," "Art and Literature of the Orient (Illustrated)," and "Travels in Many Lands." A great emphasis is placed on Bose's travels to the "Orient" as an "Oriental." The pamphlet narrates many details of Bose's life, including his arrival in the U.S. as an assistant steward of Standard Oil.
