Dearest father, may Waheguru bless you with good health for a long time. Sat Sri Akal.(God is True)

With your blessings and Waheguru’s will, I am hale and hearty as of now, and pray to God day and night for your good health. I may mention that I have written several letters to you, but for a long time I have not heard about your well-being. My previous letters will tell you everything about me.

I am sending to you a sum of – Rupees 280. When you received the sum, please let me know. Further, please let me know whether or not you received the Rupees 100 that I sent to you earlier. If you did not get that sum, I can arrange the needful. In any case, please respond soon.

Please let me know whether brother, Jagat Singh, has returned home or not. Until I hear from you, I am unable to write more. Please hug younger brother, Rulia Singh, for me, and on my behalf give him some money for the fair. I implore. I am much worried about brother, Jagat Singh. Please reply soon.

Very humbly,

Bhagat Singh
