Resolution and Speech by Sirdar J.J. Singh at India League of America Meeting



DESCRIPTION
Resolution moved by Sirdar J.J. Singh, President of the India League of America, at the ILA meeting held on August 9, 1943. The statement ends with four resolutions: 1) the Viceroy free the political prisoners of India; 2) negotiations between the British Government and the India political parties; 3) the complete freedom of India after the war be guaranteed by a joint declaration of the leading members of the United Nations; 4) the Government of the United States be offered to accomplish these changes and negotiations.
