DESCRIPTION
Booklet titled The Story of the Oriental Peoples -- Japan, China, India, written by Florence Natalie Heacock in collaboration with Walker Brown. The booklet was published by the Los Angeles City School District Division of Psychology and Educational Research in 1929. The booklet contains epigraphs from Confucius and Rudyard Kipling, a foreword by Assistant Superintendent Helen Watson Pierce. The introduction to the Indian section is written by the attorney Sakharam Ganesh Pandit, who also worked as an instructor of Literature of India at the University of Southern California.
