DESCRIPTION
May 1912 issue of The Aryan, a journal described as "The Only Hindu Paper in Canada." The majority of the articles within describe the activities of the Sikh Canadian population and Immigration policy, though some reports from India also exist. The articles are organized around the following titles: "Color Prejudice Debars Families of Sikh Settlers," "Hindu is Fellow Subject, Not Citizen," "Hindus Challenge Mr. Stevens to Corroborate His Statements," "Hindu's Voting Case," "Jury Disagrees in Rahim Case," "Hindus Discover America," "Hindu Robbed at Revolver Point in Vancouver," "The Ten Commandments Again," "Another Deportation," "Hindus An Appreciation by a Canadian," and "British Columbia's Premier on Hindu Immigration."
