Letter from Ishwar Chandra to his uncle, dated June 1916. The letterhead indicates that Ishwar Chandra was part of the Panama Pacific International Exposition. 21 pages long, the letter goes into considerable detail about Chandra's life in the U.S., his family, and the general features of life in the U.S. Chandra also mentions the Gadar party, and how Indians who have been returning to India from the U.S. have been treated with suspicion, imprisoned, or interned due to their presumed association with the Gadar Party.
