DESCRIPTION
Immigration arrival investigation case file for Tello (Case File No. 10402/016-19). Detained at Angel Island, Tello is described as an “East Indian” who arrived to the Port of San Francisco on the S.S. Tenyo Maru on May 20, 1910. In the interrogation, conducted by Inspectors J.A. Robinson, David Griffiths, and de la Torre, Robinson and Griffiths decide to land Telloo, while de la Torre denies a landing based on suspicion that he will become a “public charge.” The file is typewritten on May 23, 1910. the file also contains a medical certificate of release, certifying that his eyes have been observed.
