DESCRIPTION
Immigration arrival investigation case file for Rattan Singh (Case File No. 12720/5-3). Singh arrived in San Francisco aboard the S.S. Siberia on June 2, 1913. On June 5, Singh was interrogated by Inspector Strand, and his case was reviewed by a board consisting of W.N. Swasey (chair), J.A. Robinson, W.H. Chadney. During the interrogation, Singh explains that he expects to go to Berkeley to study medicine. The board unanimously votes to admit Singh.
