DESCRIPTION
Excerpt from a report by the South Asia People’s Organization, a Berkeley-based organization that investigated the actions of Consul General of India in San Francisco, R.C. Arora. According to the report, Arora was an avid supporter of Indira Gandhi’s Emergency and later attempted to oust the leaders of the Indian Student Association at Berkeley since they appeared to support movements against the Emergency.
