"Chicagoan is accused"



DESCRIPTION
Newspaper clipping from the January 13, 1971 edition of The Chicago Sun-Times of an article describing the details of the arrest of Eqbal Ahmad, scholar and anti-war activist indicted for conspiring to kidnap Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. The article includes commentary from several of Ahmad’s colleagues, who believed the charges against him were fabricated to “intimidate the academic community”.
