DESCRIPTION
Letter from Taraknath Das to Godha Ram Channon dated June 19, 1950. Das informs Channon that he is sending along an article on Kashmir to distribute amongst the Indian population on the West Coast as well as a booklet titled "Tolstoi and India", which includes a section on the Free Hindustan movement Das started in 1906 as an offshoot of his anti-British organizing in Bengal, which he began in 1902. He asks Channon to translate both to Urdu and Punjabi and to disseminate them widely.
