Department of Commerce- Foreign Commerce.

Dear Frank,
Indeed is was a surprise and a pleasure to have seen you and your family after all these years. Please accept my congratulations at this occasion when you are tackling a very important assignment. Being familiar with your ability integrity and background. As difficult as it may appear to start with, I feel confident that you are the man for the position.

As personally discussed with you, myself have no further ambition for accumilation of worldly possessions, neither I intend to retire in Himalyas and live a saintly life. Good Lord spared me for some reason. There must be some usefulness of my knowledge of the country of my adoption which is also a new home of my children and grand children and also my vast acquaintance of some outstanding persons of the land of my birth -India- along with the education and the familiarity of differant languages on both sides.

To get a job and become a gear in the mechanism of either government does not appeal to me either. I have a definite program, a program to promoted peace and goodwill between our two great countries. That will need public backing and yet the blessings of the both governments. Like a soldier and not as a leader, I feel confident that I can perform a few duties. Each raindrop makes an ocean.

Certain phases of that program have been presented to you. Congressman Saund and a few other outstanding people on both sides and there times to be a demand for it. Realizing that you all are fully occupied in your daily duties, how about giving it a thought and a chance to discuss it further in your spare moments.

I feel confident that Congressman Saund will cooperate fully.

Dearest regards to yourself and Mrs Wilson also the children.

Very truly

Abnashi Ram
