DESCRIPTION
Letter from Jhamandas Watumull to Godha Ram Channon, dated January 1948. The letter is intended to introduce Channon to C.P. Ramaswamy Aiyar, the former Diwan (head minister) of the Indian princely state of Travancore. Watumull explains that Aiyar has been staying in Hawai’i as the guest of Gregg Manners Sinclair, President of the University of Hawai’i, and will soon be traveling to San Francisco; he suggests that Aiyar and Channon should meet.
