"Punjabi in America"

DESCRIPTION
Newspaper clipping from the scrapbook of Dr. Amarjit Marwah. Taken from an article in Akali Patrika dated May 25, 1969 and entitled "Punjabi in America," the clipping shows Sikh worshippers in a California gurdwara, listening to readings and Shabad Kirtan (traditional Sikh devotional music) with the accompaniment of tabla and harmonium players. Published in Jalandhar, India.
