Fremont Flowers Float in the 2014 India Day Parade
DESCRIPTION
Float representing the Fremont Flowers shop in the 2014 India Day Parade in Fremont, CA. The flower shop is owned by a third-generation, Portuguese American Fremont resident. He decided to march in the parade as a sign of solidarity with Indian American immigrants in Fremont. Private businesses, even non-Indian or non-South-Asian businesses, also often march in the parade as a way to advertise their goods/services.
