Tafadar Sourev Oral History Interview
DESCRIPTION
Tafadar Sourev, a New Yorker of Bangladeshi heritage, works in the building trades and helps organize workers' rights campaigns in solidarity with other justice movements around immigration justice, anti-gentrification, and more.
In 2018, unions protested a key figure in the National Football League (Stephen Ross) who had allowed nonunion work at a major construction project in New York. Thirty-seven people were arrested. Tafadar Sourev is pictured in the protest called #CountMeIn.
