Oral history interview with Ashna Ali, conducted by Archival Creators Fellow Nureena Faruqi.

Ashna Ali (she/they) is a Best-of-the-Net-nominated, diasporic Bangladeshi poet, educator, and cultural critic based in Brooklyn. Raised in Italy, they are queer and disabled. Their debut collection of poetry, "The Relativity of Living Well," is forthcoming in 2024 from Bone Bouquet. Ali is a 2023-2024 "In Surreal Life" fellow and serves on the Board of Directors for "No, Dear" Magazine. Their work has been or will be featured in several journals, including Indiana Review, Split This Rock, Brooklyn Poets, Nat. Brut, Kajal Mag, Zoeglossia, and Sundog Lit. Ali lives with long COVID, fibromyalgia, POTS and hEDS.
