This is a guide for South Asian voters in the United States. It provides information on the importance of voting, party affiliation, and key issues that may be of interest to South Asian voters.
The guide also includes a comparison of the positions of presidential candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton on issues such as immigration reform, accepting Syrian refugees, ending family detention, increasing immigration enforcement, banning Muslims from entering the United States, banning racial profiling by law enforcement, strengthening laws on hate crimes against religious and ethnic minorities, requiring registered voters to show photo identification in order to vote, supporting the Affordable Care Act, providing educational equity in public schools and higher education institutions, supporting tax cuts for large corporations, and increasing the federal minimum wage.
