My dear Professor Roberts,

I expect that you will be kind enough to forgive for my silence. I was very busy and working hard. I expect to enter the University of Washington which will commence its session on Oct 14th and shall take the course on Political Science. God willing, if my health do not fail and be not handicapped for financial support I expect to get my A.B. degree by 1910 instead of 1911.

I am writing this letter to extend my regards & thanks to you and other professors. I have another object in my new in writing to you and it is this - Probably I told you that Mrs. Mary Gould wishes to help me to finish my education at N.U. I have written to her some time ago asking her kind help will you kindly take the trouble to find out whether I have any chance there. If you feel that it is not sociably good for you to talk about the subject with her please do not do so.

I am well. My best regards to Mrs. Roberts Miss Roberts and to yourself and other friends. I send you two postal for your personal & best use. I am your sincere pupil.

Taraknath Das
