Dear brothers, Bhola Singh, Surain Singh and Narain Singh,
Greetings to you. Received your letter. Learnt the news. Became very happy on reading it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your remembering me when I am in a foreign land. May Waheguru keep you, my virtuous friends, happy. Your proposal regarding the land is good. It is my duty to send the money. If my father considers appropriate, he may buy the land. I will write to him. But he is the boss and may do what he wants. He is the head of our family and it is righteous for me to approve each of his appropriate actions. I request you brothers to talk to Dad about this. If he wishes to buy the land, I will send him enough money to do the same. Has brother Bhola Singh, stopped going to school for his education? What grade did he complete? Write everything. What are his future plans? I know the names of all person of your family, but I do not know them as well as I should. I hope you will pardon me for the same.
Please greet your Dad for me most humbly and affectionately. Please write, if I can be of any service. I am always willing to obey instructions of my brothers. Please continue to correspond, and reply soon.
