Amar G. Bose, inventor, engineer and founder of Bose Corporation, died last week at the age of 83.


Did you know that Amar Bose was born in Philadelphia in 1929?

His father, Noni Gopal Bose, was a freedom fighter who was arrested and imprisoned for his opposition to British rule in India. He fled to the United States in 1920.
