DESCRIPTION
Immigration arrival investigation case file for Abdul Aziz (Case File No. 12650/7-3). His name is alternatively spelled Tartab Singh. Aziz arrived in San Francisco on the S.S. Mongolia from Manila on April 25, 1913. He was detained in Angel Island, and interrogated by Inspectors W.N. Swasey (chair), W.H. Clendenin, W.H. Chadney, with the assistance of Interpreter D.S. Dady Burjar. During the interrogation, Aziz declares his intention of moving to Pittsburgh to work and study. At the conclusion of the interrogation, the board unanimously votes that Aziz be admitted.
