DESCRIPTION
The January 1924 issue of the United States of India (Vol. 1, No. 6) published from the headquarters of the "Pacific Coast Hindustani Association" at No. 5 Wood Street, San Francisco featured the following articles: "False Notions About India Explained," and the poem "Rob Him For His Good" by Bertrand Shadwell. The editorial section opens the issue on a note of sarcasm with "Our Christmas prayer," which is a thinly veiled critique of British colonialism.
