DESCRIPTION
Letter from Godha Ram Channon to J.N. Sharma, discussing their organization’s inability to come up with a “refugees’ fund” to present to Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru during an upcoming visit to California. Channon suggests a number of individuals to approach directly as part of a strategy to raise these funds; the money is intended to go to those who have been displaced by the Partition of India.
