DESCRIPTION
Advertisement announcing a debate between Cornelia Sorabji and Syud Hossain on whether or not India should be released from British rule. Cornelia Sorabji, leader of the Feminist Movement in India and the first woman lawyer to plead in a British court, was strongly opposed to Gandhi and believed British rule should remain in India whereas Syud Hossain, one of the leading intellectuals of India and a famous student of international affairs, was a steadfast Gandhi supporter who advocated for a free India.
