ANNOUNCEMENT
All Hindustanees and their families will be pleased to learn that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru the First Prime Minister of the Union of Free India has agreed to come to California while visiting the United States for the first time.
He is expected to arrive in San Francisco on Sunday, October 30th, sometime in the afternoon and will be speaking at the University of California Campus on Monday, October 31st at noon. He will return to San Francisco in the afternoon and meet all Hindustanees at the Scottish Rite Auditorium located at Sutter Street and Van Ness Avenue.
Every Hindustanee is requested to first come to the Depot to join the Reception Committee to give him a warm recep-tion, then join the parade which will pass through the City and end at the hotel. Next day (on Monday October 31st) in the afternoon every Indian shall attend the meeting at the above Auditorium to hear his speech.
This is a rare occasion, and therefore, no Hindustanee should miss this wonderful opportunity.
