Letter from Khizar Hayat Tiwana to Abnashi Ram, dated July 2, 1971 and postmarked from Lahore. Tiwana expresses sorrow at the depressive state of their mutual friend Mumtaz Kitchlew, and notes that he has spoken to Kitchlew's nephew Khwaja Mushtaq Ilahi about getting him treatment or having some family members stay with him.
