Correspondence between Bernhard Bonwitt and Godha Ram Channon

DESCRIPTION
Correspondence between Bernhard Bonwitt and Godha Ram Channon. Bonwitt informs Channon that there is no extant photograph of Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Ambassador Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit during Nehru’s address at the Scottish Rite Auditorium. Bonwitt’s negative of the photo was lost and no other photographers managed to take one. Channon replies that the members of the committee feel that “some kind of sabotage” has taken place, and encloses a check for Bonwitt’s services, though a portion of the balance has not yet been paid.
