DESCRIPTION
Letter from Taraknath Das to Godha Ram Channon, thanking Channon for a letter about establishing an annual Dr. Syud Hossain memorial lecture at the University of Southern California. Though he received a favorable response at the university, Das did not make any move to establish the lecture, both to avoid association with the poor reception Hossain had received in Southern California and because he does not currently have the funds for the initial venture. Das adds that he has raised very little from the community in California, asks that Channon and his friends contribute to his foundation, and expresses regret over the recent passing of Rama Watumull.
