Letter from Mumtaz Kitchlew to Abnashi Ram

DESCRIPTION
Letter from Mumtaz Kitchlew to Abnashi Ram, addressing Ram’s anger about a comment made by a mutual friend (Ajit Singh). Kitchlew acknowledges the comment was wrong but urges Ram to remember that Singh is young and naïve. He goes on to discuss Singh’s visits to his house (3-4 times per year) and lengthy discussions in Punjabi, and brings up the fact that Singh recently made a business deal with Ram that he could not fulfill. Kitchlew concludes by stating that Ram should not trust Singh with such serious business ideas due to his impulsive personality, and mentions having recently met his old friend Dr. Pyara Singh in Chicago.
