DESCRIPTION
Letter from Mumtaz Kitchlew to Abnashi Ram, discussing J. Francis “Doc” Guyton’s upcoming trip to Europe and Harish Bhalla’s illness, as well as the passing of their mutual friend Mr. Ranjee. Kitchlew also mentions that he has lived at the Palmer House in Chicago for 39½ years, and sent much of the money from his store to his “needy relatives” overseas.
