DESCRIPTION
Two newspaper clippings from L.A. India featured in the scrapbook of Dr. Amarjit Marwah.

The first, entitled "Sri, Sakti, Sarade Kalaniketan Presents Talented Show" and dated September 16, 1988, describes a successful performance of classical Indian dance by the Sri, Sakti, Sarade Kalaniketan dance class. The article quotes Dr. Amarjit Marwah as the guest of honor, as well as mentioning Vijaya Bhanu as the program's director and noting the presence of Dr. Parvin Syal, President of the Federation of Indian Associations.

The second, entitled "Dr. Marwah Named Chairman of Nargis Dutt Memorial Foundation of S. California" and dated October 7, 1988, discusses Dr. Marwah's appointment as chairman of the Nargis Dutt Memorial Foundation of Southern California (a foundation named in honor of the late Indian actress Nargis Dutt and dedicated to fighting the cancer that claimed her life). The article lists Dr. Marwah's accomplishments and briefly mentions the other officers of the foundation.
