DESCRIPTION
Three newspaper clippings from the scrapbook of Dr. Amarjit Marwah.

The first, an article from India-West entitled "Bombay/L.A. Connection Celebrated in Olympic Send-Off" and dated August 17, 1984, describes the Bombay/L.A. Sister City Exhibition held in Los Angeles in connection with the 1984 Summer Olympics, which was attended by many Indian and Indian American luuminaries.

The second, a clipping from India Abroad entitled "New Chamber Chief" and dated March 30, 1984, is a brief blurb explaining that Manmohan Singh had been named the new president of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. Also includes a photograph of Singh.

The third, an advertisement placed in an unknown newspaper, announces plans for the Indian community of Southern California to hold a fundraiser luncheon for Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley. Dr. Marwah is listed as a contact for this event.
