DESCRIPTION
Article from the Los Angeles Times entitled "HISTORY: Watchdog" which quotes Dr. Amarjit Marwah, head of the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission, on his work preserving historic buildings. This page of Dr. Marwah's scrapbook also includes a letter published in the Los Angeles Times written by Cyril Chern of the American Institute of Architects, entitled "L.A. Heritage Commission." Chern wrote in support of the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission's efforts.
