DESCRIPTION
Pamphlet advertising the lectures of Basanta Koomar Roy, described on the cover page as a "Lecturer with a Prophetic Message." Lectures given include "Rabindranath Tagore," The Awakening of India," "Hindu Literature," "Hindu Manners and Customs and Social Reform," "Education in India," "Woman Suffrage," "The Feminist Movement in the Orient," "India and America," "India and Ireland," among other topics. Roy was an active member of the Friends for Freedom of India, and was educated at the University of Calcutta and the University of Wisconsin.
