DESCRIPTION
Issue #8 from the first volume of Khush Khush Hota Hai, the newsletter of KhushDC (a Washington, D.C.-based support group for LGBTQ+ South Asian Americans). The newsletter is dated April 2002 and the front-page headline is "Lobbying for a Liberalization of India's Unjust Laws on Homosexuality," detailing the efforts of judges from Australia and South Africa to argue against India's criminalization of homosexuality. (The law would remain until struck down in 2018.)
