Two newspaper clippings from the scrapbook of Dr. Amarjit Marwah.

The first, an article from L.A. India entitled "Ambassador Abid Hussein Pleads for Harmony" and dated July 27, 1990, describes a speech given by the new Indian ambassador to the United States, Abid Hussain, at Dr. Marwah's Malibu home.

The second, an article from India-West by Michel W. Potts entitled "Problems Confronting Women Focus of Karki's Talk" and dated July 27, 1990, reports on a speech about the plight of Indian women given by Dr. T. Karki Hussain; the article pictures her husband Abid Hussein with Dr. Marwah and mentions that Marwah later hosted him as the guest of honor for a private dinner.
