The United States of India (December - January - February 1928)

DESCRIPTION
The December-January-February 1928 edition of the The United States of India (Vol. 5, Nos. 6-8) focuses primarily on American writer Katherine Mayo's Mother India, an expose of the social practices of colonial India, which was deemed as a work of pro-British propaganda. The issue mainly includes rebuttals and reviews of Mayo's book published elsewhere: "Drain Inspector's Report" by Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore's response from The Nation, "'Disinterested' Miss Mayo" by Lajpat Rai, and a review of Ranga Iyer's Father India.
