Oral History Interview with Bhaskar Rao Mutyala



DESCRIPTION
Bhaskar Rao Mutyala was originally from Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India, and immigrated to the United States in 1962. Mutyala started his masters degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan. Mutyala was joined by his wife, Sita, in 1968. After working in Michigan, Indiana, and Alabama, Mutyala and his family moved to Houston, where he worked at Lockheed for NASA. Mutyala later started an automobile transmission business, Atlas Transmission. Mutyala discusses his experiences in America, his children, and his community involvements.
