DESCRIPTION
Tahura Holly is the business owner of Festive Essentials. She opened the business in 2018 after struggling to find jewelry for her own wedding locally, having to drive out hours to find jewelry. Following her wedding Tahura moved to Mumbai. There she began handpicking jewelry and sending it to friends and family in Michigan where she was raised. Tahura ships jewelry from Mumbai to clients across the United States. She also sells her products at her father’s store in Hamtramck, Michigan. Here, a Festive Essentials employee creates a flower jewelry set. Tahura is one of metro Detroit’s Bangladeshi Women Entrepreneurs.
