San Francisco Residential Service Workers Ratify New Contract with Building Owners



DESCRIPTION
In 2009, residential employees negotiated a new contract that preserved their healthcare among other benefits. Emmanuel Eric, a doorman in San Francisco who had served on the bargaining committee, was quoted in the union's article about the new contract, saying, "For veteran residential workers like myself, this contract is a huge victory in upholding the standards we've built up in our industry over decades."
