Dear Mr. Gyanee,

I was very flattered at your request that I should write something for the Nava-Jug. However, I do not know when I shall be able to do it. I am going out of Washington for a week on Thursday and after that I am accompanying the Ambassador on a West Coast tour. Perhaps when I come to Los Angeles I shall see you.

I understand the Indian community in Los Angeles is thinking of honouring the Ambassador in some manner.

I do hope that I shall see you in Los Angeles.

Yours sincerely,

Unni Nayar, Colonel,
Public Relations Officer.
