17th October 1950.

My dear Bhai Bhagwan Singhji,

Thank you very much for your letter of the 16th October.

2. I have had my engagement for the 1st November postponed to 6th December and will thus be entirely at your disposal for the whole of that day. I would suggest that if the response to your invitations is satisfactory you may call the meeting for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, the 1st November at the Consulate General. It would perhaps be as well if you were to come here a day earlier and bring all the correspondence with you.

3. I have now almost completely recovered and the rest of the family are doing well.

Looking forward to seeing you and with kindest regards,

Yours sincerely,

M.R. Ahuja
Consul General.

P.S.
Please pardon me for not thanking you before for your valued suggestion regarding the use of Alfafa seed. I have made note of your request for Indian newspapers which will be duly forwarded to you as already promised.
