Oral history interview with Sonali Fernando, conducted by Archival Creators Fellow Pooja Prazid.

Sonali Fernando’s life in New Orleans has mostly revolved around community, the arts, and hospitality. Her varied career have included being a cultural arts educator, a beloved bartender, restaurant owner, party promoter, Art’s and music curator, DJ and performer. She moved to New Orleans in 2002 to go to university and never left.
