DESCRIPTION
Oral history interview with Tika Acharya, conducted by Archival Creators Fellow Rojika Sharma.

Tika Acharya is a poet, father, and active community member living in Central Ohio. He shares his memories of his exile from Bhutan, his early days living in a refugee camp in Nepal, and being a new immigrant in the United States. Acharya walks us across Bhutan, Nepal, Arizona, and Ohio as he recounts his journey, which he took while raising his three daughters. Acharya also shares his poetry that details his yearning to see Bhutan again and his experiences living as a new American.
