Oral history interview with Mani Biswa, conducted by Archival Creators Fellow Rojika Sharma.

Mani Biswa is a social worker and father living in Columbus, Ohio. Biswa’s story begins in Bhutan. In his oral history, he shares vivid memories of working to support his family in Nepal as a teacher. His story highlights how his religion and caste are marginalized within the greater Bhutanese community and play a big role throughout his life. Biswa shares how he has found freedom to practice his religion in the United States as a Christian Bhutanese refugee.
