"Statement of Solidarity with I.P.A.N.A"
This statement was issued by the India Forum during a public rally in Vancouver, the General Convention. The statement describes the organization’s solidarity with the Indian People’s Association of North America, and states that “since 1947 the plight of the overwhelming majority of the Indian people has worsened and the gap between the rich and the poor has continued to widen.”

The demonstration was organized by the New India Coalition, which had the support of several groups in the Bay Area.
